Shoper 9 supports creation of invoices "on credit/on account", which means that the payment for the same has not been collected immediately, but at a later date as per the business rules defined. For making such an invoice, customer information is mandatory and a customer can be one who visits the stores/showrooms to purchase an item, or one to whom the business would like to extend credit. It could also be other retail establishments with which the store conducts transactions generally on credit. It is possible to configure whether the business supports credit invoicing or not. A credit sale in a retail business is generally allowed for those who enjoy good credit rating with the business and are identified by the management. Extending credit in the case of units that are part of a retail network is decided by their head office and the required billing configuration is also done by them.

Shoper 9 provides great flexibility in grouping your customers using a "price group", whereby it's possible to define common aspects like credit limits, credit days, payment terms, etc. at a group level, rather than at an individual customer level. This provides better control and flexibility in managing the credit policies. Shoper 9 can be seamlessly interfaced with Tally.ERP 9 for managing accounts receivables.

Shoper 9 generates various reports on credit transactions. These reports provide information on bill wise credit transactions, items sold under credit, details of salesmen selling items on credit, cancelled and returned credit bills, date wise credit sales, node wise credit sales and bill wise off-take by credit customers. They also contain information useful to the organisation in modifying their credit policies to make it more attractive and also increase cash flow.
